It depends on the guest count, the type of event and how long the music plays. A soloist or duo carries a one-hour set at a small gathering. As the playing time and guest count grow, book at least a trio to fill the space.

Both. It all started as traditional chamber music, composers like Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Handel. Then the Vitamin String Quartet and shows like Bridgerton showcased string ensembles playing pop music. We do it all, so you can have traditional and contemporary repertoire in the same set.

Yes. The strings open with thirty minutes of prelude music to greet guests as they arrive and find their seats, then play the processionals and the recessional. Most clients keep them for cocktail hour and live strings over dinner set a refined, elegant atmosphere.

Absolutely. If a song isn't in our database we'll create a custom arrangement for the instrumentation you booked. Additional fees apply to compensate the musicians for transcription, sheet music and rehearsal time.

Yes, most of our spring and summer events are outside. The instruments are sensitive, though: no playing under 60 degrees, no contact with rain or mist and no direct sunlight. Providing a tent or cover is the client's responsibility.

Yes. We work with the planner or coordinator at your venue, who gives us a visual cue for each song so the timing is exact.

Not at a wedding ceremony and cocktail reception: we play the prelude, the ceremony selections and go straight into cocktail hour. When the strings are booked for three or four hours at a private party or corporate event, they play a full hour and break for ten to fifteen minutes on the hour.
