The Guarantees

Great events bring people together and the music should too.

We get hired for the party and rebooked for the professionalism.

Headphones resting on a lit DJ mixer

Will the music be appropriate?

Profanity never reaches the speakers and neither do songs whose subject matter is wrong for a work event, clean edit or not.

Will the songs include everyone on our team?

Share your team's favorite artists, genres and cultural traditions before the event and we'll thoughtfully blend them into a set that feels personal, inclusive and keeps the dance floor full.

Are you insured?

Liability certificates go straight to your venue and backup equipment rides to every event. Your venue has probably already seen our paperwork.

Our Standard

We don't press play and walk away.

Companies have come to us after watching a DJ start a ninety-minute playlist and head to the parking lot. Every C-Zone DJ mixes live and stays behind the decks from doors to last song, dressed and carrying themselves like your colleagues are watching. Because they are.

The Logistics

The details are our job

A seamless event is all about the preparation. Whether a professional planner is driving the timeline or the whole thing landed on your desk, we handle the coordination.

  • Your venue's point of contact becomes ours: timeline, room flow and where each sound system goes.
  • Load-in, freight elevators, check-in and parking get mapped before the day, even at venues we already know well.
  • Hand us a schedule and every announcement lands on cue. We set our own reminders.
  • Jazz in the lobby for cocktails, the DJ already playing when the ballroom doors open. Separate systems wherever the night moves.
  • Outside acts welcome. We pack the cables and adapters it takes to say yes on site.

A Note From Greg

“I've never seen these people move like that. Are you available next year?

Corporate crowds start out carefully; nobody wants to be the first one dancing in front of their boss. I once played a holiday party full of surgeons who were pretty reserved, so I kept mixing across genres, decades and styles: The Temptations, AC/DC, Mariah Carey, Bruno Mars, until something caught their attention.

I ended up playing clean edits of Biggie and Snoop for an old-school hip-hop dance party nobody saw coming. The client was thrilled and said they'd never experienced anything like it at their previous outings.

Good Questions

Frequently asked

Are you insured?+

Yes. We carry liability insurance and send certificates straight to your venue. Most Boston-area venues already have ours on file.

Do you bring backup equipment?+

To every event. If something fails, the spare is already in the room and the party keeps going. We rarely need it: we update our equipment constantly, so our clients always hear the best sound.

Will the music be appropriate?+

Yes. We subscribe to professional record pools, so every hit we play is the properly produced clean version. Beyond edits, our DJs read the room and cater to the crowd's response, demographics, cultures and age range.

Our team is multicultural. Can you play for everyone?+

Yes and it's one of the best parts of corporate Boston. Tell us the cultures in the room and send a handful of songs in advance. We'll learn the feel, then blend merengue or Afrobeat into the same set as Beyoncé and Usher so every table gets a turn on the floor.

How early do you arrive?+

Early enough that you never think about it. Load-in, freight elevators, parking and timing are worked out with your venue in advance and we're sound-checked before the first guest walks in.

Can you work alongside other entertainment?+

Yes. We've shared the room with acrobats, casino nights, awards programs and performers running their own backing tracks. We make the announcements, run their audio through our system and keep the night flowing between acts.

What kinds of corporate events do you play?+

Holiday parties, grand openings, team-building seminars, summer outings, clambakes, award ceremonies, galas and more. Some of our corporate clients have rebooked every year for more than a decade.
