Dave Landoni

Meet our resident bassist David Landoni, who has been performing with us for more than a decade. If you’re looking for someone to uphold the low end, this is the guy. A true professional, equally comfortable playing jazz, pop, blues, soul, R&B, Latin, Bossa Nova or whatever the gig calls for. With C-Zone he’s performed at countless brunches, corporate events, cocktail receptions, dinner parties, awards ceremonies, holiday parties, wedding ceremonies and more.

He received his B.A. from Berklee College of Music and has played and recorded with jazz artists such as Herb Pomeroy, Hal Galper, Harold Jones, Joe Hunt, Terrell Stafford, Jens Lindeman and the Artie Shaw Orchestra under the direction of Dick Johnson.

In addition, he has performed with vocalists including NEA Jazz Master Sheila Jordan, Toni Lynn Washington, Kay Starr and Helen O’Connell. He has also backed up stars of stage and screen including Frankie Avalon, Mickey Rooney, Eddie Mecca and Donald O’Connor. Dave maintains a private teaching studio and has served on the faculty at the University of Massachusetts Boston and Salem State University.
