Dave Fox

Meet our resident drummer, Dave Fox, an accomplished and versatile musician whose dynamic playing has powered a wide range of artists across New England, throughout the U.S. and abroad. A seasoned sideman for more than two decades, he has appeared on over 40 recordings and collaborated with an eclectic roster including Tom Hambridge and The Rattlesnakes, The Stompers, David Tronzo, Charles Neville, Bruce Bartlett, Jeffrey Lockhart, Stan Strickland, Jen Kearney and John Lockwood.

Dave’s current projects include The Gravel Project and the trio AS3 with Andrew Stern and Brad Barrett. His work with The Gravel Project has earned him two New England Music Awards and he is a two-time Boston Music Award nominee with Dr. Awkward. He is also an endorser of Vic Firth drumsticks and mallets.

Beyond performing, Dave is the Department Head for Percussion and Jazz & Contemporary Music at Groton Hill Music in Groton, MA and maintains a thriving private teaching studio in Waltham, MA. His blend of experience, musicality and dedication has made him a respected presence in the New England music community.
