Thomas Hebb Bass
Thomas Hebb emerges from a strong musical lineage in that his grandparents were music teachers and his mother and sister are musicians, and he’s the nephew of Bobby Hebb who composed and performed the standard “Sunny.”
One of Boston’s first call bassists, Thomas has performed internationally, including tours of Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. His diverse career covers a spectrum of performances from Robert Palmer, Martha and the Vandellas to Dick Hyman and Herb Pomeroy.
Thomas is also an accomplished classical flutist and performs in duo and trio settings throughout Greater Boston for wedding ceremonies and various events. He also possesses a refined vocal ability and can comfortably sing baritone up to a velvety falsetto in the R&B, Jazz and Blues genres.
Thomas has said that he’s had the good fortune to perform in some of the most beautiful places in the world. Once you’ve heard him play, you will understand that this is only as it should be.
